Raiders of the Renaissance Minds 2008 Parent Blog
I am thrilled to share this beautiful blog created by the families in the EPIC Adventure Academy during the year 2008.
I've copied and pasted their posts, no changes, with the exception of replacing all the children's names with (xxx), to preserve some privacy.
These wonderful mothers gave permission for me to share their blog. They tell it like it is. Not everyone in the Academy added to the blog, but those that did left a rich record of their learning experiences. I loved reading their entries and through their photographs we were able to step into the homeschools of families from around the world. It was not only inspiring to me, but also endeared me to these families.
As you can see, everyone lived the Adventure uniquely, and creatively.
Through the miracle of technology, and the medium of the blog, families across the world can share their experiences on their EPIC Adventures - they inspire, motivate, share ideas, see examples of Inquiry projects, see into their schoolrooms, share their being-there experiences, costumes and visitors, thoughts, feelings and reflections!
